Art of Dog

The Hair O’ The Dog Gallery is pleased to exhibit works by local artists. While most of the work we display consists of hung illustrations, paintings, photography and pastels, we’re game for mosaics and other sculptural pieces. We even talked to one dude about hanging some furniture from the rafters.

Hair O’ The Dog charges an artist-friendly commission rate of 10% on all pieces sold, then donates 100% of those commissions to local charities.

It’s a classic WIN-WIN-WIN situation: Artists get exposure to thousands of potential buyers. Our customers get the benefit of a beautiful and ever-changing retail environment. The local community benefits from our contributions to worthy charities. Everyone wins and no one loses. We love that !

Artist’s Application

If you’re an artist who would like to exhibit works at The Dog, be assured that our space is very art-friendly. We have no advertising signage to detract from the works, and we’ve designed hanging systems and gallery-quality lighting to highlight your works. We know it’s hard to believe, but visit us and check out the current exhibit. Given that our ceilings are 15’ high, we get particularly excited about large format artworks. Consignment Agreement

Our Consignment Agreement is simple and fair to artists. Artists must complete this agreement prior to the hanging of their works.
